An opportunity to accelerate your digital transformation: the Rev3 Transformation Booster Program

The REV3 Transformation Booster
The Hauts-de-France region is actively driving industrial transformation through its REV3 policy, which aims to support businesses in becoming more sustainable and competitive.
In 2023, a new milestone was reached with the launch of the REV3 framework*, a strategic self-assessment and measurement tool developed in collaboration with manufacturers, regional competitiveness clusters, and business support organizations.

In 2024, the region is launching itsRev3 transformation initiative, focusing on nine key themes:

  • The circular economy
  • Carbon footprint
  • Energy efficiency
  • Life Cycle Assessment
  • Sustainable mobility
  • Digital technology
  • New logistics and supply chain models
  • The Sharing Economy
  • Resource conservation and adaptation to climate change

This program provides structured methodological support, which includes:

  1. An assessment of thecompany’s current situationregarding the chosen topic
  2. Identifying and prioritizing areas of focusto maximize the impact of our initiatives.
  3. Developing an action plan: Identifying partners, defining objectives, establishing a timeline, and outlining expected outcomes.
  4. Developing a dashboardto measure the impact of the actions taken.

Maximum cost of the support: €10,000 (excluding tax), with 50% co-financing.

EuraMaterials' Proposal for Material Flow Management

EuraMaterials, as a competitiveness cluster focused on supporting industrial transitions through materials and related processes, is helping to implement this initiative, with a particular emphasis onthe circular economy and material flow management(sourcing alternative materials, optimizing production flows, reusing material losses and scraps, recycling, and end-of-life management).
We therefore offer you customized support, following this 4-step methodology:

  • A diagnostic phase: an assessment of the current situation in light of REV3 priorities and transition prospects, constraints, objectives, and challenges
  • A phase focused on analyzing and identifying practical courses of actionthat align with the company’s resources (objectives, initiatives, financial resources, and human resources). This collaborative process will help the company better embrace the recommendations and action plan.
  • A collaborative phase to develop the roadmap, with the aim of ranking and prioritizing actions based on implementation challenges, available resources, alignment with the company’s strategy, and short-, medium-, and long-term initiatives. The division will focus on identifying partners (where relevant) and funding mechanisms to accelerate implementation.
  • A phase focused on defining performance metrics totrack and evaluate the impact of the initiatives implemented.

For the other areas, the team is available to explain the program (details) and refer you to the relevant organizations based on the area you’d like to explore further.

  • Carbon footprint assessment toquantifydirect emissions (such as those related to energy consumption) and indirect emissions (such as those from the supply chain) in CO₂ equivalents; identify the main sources of emissions; set reduction targets and implement strategies to reduce the carbon footprint
  • Life cycle assessmentto understand the overall environmental impact of its products at every stage, from production to end of life; identify critical areas where improvements can be made; optimize resource use; reduce costs by minimizing waste
  • But also other issues related to the circular economy, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, digital technology, new logistics and supply chain models, resource conservation, and adaptation to climate change

Please note that a company is eligible for a maximum of two boosters.

*The REV3 Framework is a reference guidedesigned to help companies manage the various phases of their transition. It provides a structured framework that enables them to:
Create synergies : Facilitate collaboration among economic, academic, and institutional stakeholders to stimulate innovation and sustainable development.
Measure environmental performance : Identify areas for improvement to enhance resource management and reduce carbon footprint.
Integrate cutting-edge technologies : Promote the adoption of innovative processes to optimize resources and reduce emissions.
Encouraging innovation : Enabling companies to remain competitive through the integration of new solutions.
