MDTex • Medical Textiles Cluster

The MDTex project aims to decompartmentalize the health and textile sectors.

The project partners are encouraged to pool their networks and skills to combine their expertise and technologies and develop new products, among other things.

This ecosystem encourages medical textile projects and products to take shape by providing project developers with the infrastructure to meet each other, form consortia, collaborate and create new opportunities. This infrastructure mainly involves the establishment of an open-innovation framework within which all those involved can find the suitable expertise and learn about calls for proposals.

The MDTex network therefore facilitates innovation and accelerates the transfer of technology to industry.

This European project is supporting alliances and collaboration in six areas:

  • implants
  • biological filtration
  • regenerative medicine
  • compression and contention
  • monitoring
  • treatment methods
