New Partnership with Plastium

After several months of discussions, EuraMaterials formed a partnership in September 2022 with PLASTIUM, a center of excellence in plastics and composites that brings together a network of stakeholders across the Hauts-de-France region.

The PLASTIUM Center of Excellence has five main missions:

  • Anticipate changes that could impact the industry
  • Contribute to the success of projects undertaken by companies in the sector
  • Network, develop, and advance technical and technological skills
  • Representing businesses in the economic sphere
  • Promoting the Plastics and Composites Industry in the Hauts-de-France Region

The combined strength of this partnership already makes it possible to:

  • To increase awareness, provide information, and promote the adoption of technologies, products, and processes that support these transitions and enhance competitiveness
  • To provide comprehensive support for the issues and challenges faced by companies in the materials sector, while engaging with various value chains, sectors, and markets.
  • To offer new opportunities for diversification in application markets
  • To accelerate business projects through streamlined collaboration and expanded sourcing
  • Access training courses developed and/or delivered by Plastium. As a QUALIOPI-certified training center, it develops training programs designed for companies and their employees. These include “job-specific” training courses (such as the CQP Injection certification or machine setter/adjuster training) and non-certification “cross-functional” training courses (such as conflict management).

Additional initiatives will be implemented over the next three years to meet members’ needs.

It should be noted that EuraMaterials has maintained a partnership with CLUBTEX since 2012. The two organizations carry out joint initiatives and share their respective networks for the benefit of their members.

Founded in 1989, CLUBTEX brings together a European network of leading companies in the technical textiles sector to support development in technical, commercial, economic, and international areas.
