A look back at the grand opening of the EuraMaterials showroom: a showcase of innovation and expertise!

The showroom: a showcase of local craftsmanship!

This showroom is much more than just an exhibition space: it is a living showcase of innovation in materials from our region. Numerous products are on display, ranging from textiles to glassware, plastics, and packaging. Companies were able to showcase the products that best represented their unique expertise. Today, more than 150 products are on display, illustrating the richness and diversity of the ecosystem.

Among the innovations on display are:

  • An inflatable fabric fender from Safe Boat Equipment
  • The development of upholstery fabrics by Dickson
  • The development of flexible textile sensors by Gemtex
  • CETI's work on the recycling of fishing nets
  • The Development of Implantable Textile Prostheses, by Cousin Surgery
  • The development of new polymers with specific optical properties by the IFTH
  • The development of automotive parts made from recycled textile fibers, by Wecosta
  • The Development of Recyclable and Recycled Plastic Packaging, by Creative Vision of Packaging
  • The development of innovative glass solutions by Arc France
  • CEAtech's work on the recycling of wind turbine blades

Of course, to understand the story behind the innovation behind each product on display, each item is accompanied by a detailed information sheet that provides information about both the company and the product.

The showroom: the result of a year’s work!

The story of this showroom didn’t begin on March 5, but rather last year. In fact, behind the scenes, a great deal of thought, planning, and coordination went into turning this concept into reality. It took us:

  • define the space and envision how to showcase each innovation
  • be patient and meticulous when assembling all the furniture
  • contact companies over a 10-month period and collect the products,
  • create more than 150 product pages, featuring easy-to-understand descriptions to enhance the visitor experience
  • as well as gallons of coffee to keep up the pace

The result is clear: a space that is alive, evolving, and, above all, belongs to its members. This showroom isn’t static: it’s meant to be used and visited, and it must evolve alongside new innovations!

A huge thank you to all the companies that contributed to this project, to the many visitors who attended, and to everyone who helped make this opening a success.
