CrispyPack • Development of ecodesigned food packaging for a crispy microwave meal
Joint certified by EuraMaterials, Aquimer and Xylofutur, the CrispyPack project is working on an innovative new type of functionalized packaging that means even a microwave meal can have a nice, crispy top.
The new concept will deliver:
- fast cooking times of between 10 and 15 minutes
- comparable nutritional properties and presentation quality
- a crispy appearance on the top
The CrispyPack project incorporates all the industrial preparation stages, from the manufacture and processing of materials to filling and retail packaging by the agrifood industry.
EuraMaterials’ part in the CrispyPack project includes:

- project promotion
